With a commitment to long-term relationships and collaborative contracting setting us apart and through a team of over 2000 skilled professionals, BMD specialises in transformative infrastructure across diverse sectors.About the RoleAs the Quality Coordinator, you will liaise with the engineering and supervision teams on site, to ensure that best practice quality systems are put in place and maintained.Understand client requirements, including statutory and regulatory requirements for AS / NZ ISO 9001:2008 and take responsibility for their implementationManage, access, review and change the quality control measures used onsiteEnsure all contractual constraints with regard to quality issues are negotiated with subcontractors to ensure efficient compliance with the Quality Management PlanDevelop draft NCRs with the engineering team and Quality ManagerIssue reports of lot management and non-conformance's to the construction teamsContribute to and review documentation, including ITPsThe successful candidate will be a self-starter with:Tertiary qualification in engineering preferredExperience as an Auditor of Quality Management Systems - preferred.Awareness of relevant Australian and International standards, both technical and those related to management systems.Well-developed writing, communication, consultation and negotiating skills.BenefitsWe believe our people do their best work when they feel supported - personally and professionally.
