This department is seeking a detail-oriented APS3 Legal Support Officer to deliver high-quality administrative and litigation support in a busy legal environment. Key responsibilities include case file creation, document drafting, witness coordination, and court-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and administer case files
* Draft routine correspondence and documents
* Coordinate witnesses, prepare subpoenas/summons, and arrange travel and court-related requirements
* Prepare and file court documentation, conduct basic research, and organise interpreters or translators
Requirements:
* Ability and willingness to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
* Ability and willingness to undergo Police check clearance
Skills & Experience:
* Experience in providing administrative or legal support services, preferably in a government or legal environment
* Strong organisational, research, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, and integrity
