Seeking a Skilled Carpenter and Handyperson
The role involves a variety of general maintenance and carpentry tasks to support clients across the Illawarra region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertaking a range of carpentry and maintenance work, including installing fixtures, repairing furniture, and completing other general handyperson tasks.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, and determining the best course of action to resolve them.
* Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and deliver a high standard of workmanship.
* Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, and ensuring all tools and equipment are well-maintained.
* Providing advice and recommendations to clients on home improvement and maintenance projects.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a carpenter and handyperson, with a strong understanding of construction principles and building maintenance.
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to work autonomously to resolve issues.
* Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
