Workforce Development Coordinator Job Description
The Pathways and Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in delivering the Workforce Development Scholarship Program as part of the ECA Tasmania Workforce Initiative.
About the Role:
This position focuses on supporting individuals to successfully complete qualifications and thrive in the sector through financial and wraparound supports, such as mentoring and coaching.
You'll guide participants through their training journey, helping them complete qualifications and gain confidence in their roles.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Administering and delivering scholarships for educators in Tasmania.
* Providing tailored support to participants to build confidence and capability.
* Implementing grants, marketing, progress monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
* Hosting networking events and facilitating communities of practice to strengthen collaboration and professional growth.
* Building strong relationships with education and care services, employment providers, community organisations, and government stakeholders to co-design solutions and share best practice.
Requirements:
We're looking for someone who has experience in the education and care sector (EC background highly desirable), is passionate about workforce development and supporting people to succeed.
They should bring strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, enjoy building relationships and fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
