Job Description:
As a Mental Health Registered Nurse at our facility, you will provide specialized care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges within a correctional setting.
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to support rehabilitation and overall wellbeing.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help create a safe, respectful, and culturally responsive healthcare environment, ensuring dignity and high-quality care for every individual.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A current Australian Registered Nurse practicing certificate (AHPRA)
* At least two years of clinical experience, ideally in mental health, primary care, or acute/emergency settings
* Strong assessment and case management skills, with experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
* The ability to work effectively in a highly secure environment, demonstrating resilience, empathy, and professionalism
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team
* A commitment to best practice and continuous improvement in mental health nursing
