About the Role
The In-Work Support Mentor plays a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain sustainable employment outcomes. This position focuses on providing ongoing mentoring, guidance, and practical assistance to both participants and employers to help resolve workplace challenges, strengthen retention, and promote long-term success.
Your key responsibilities are:
 * Focus on meeting each participant's individual needs and aspirations for employment
 * Provide tailored post-placement and on-the-job support to participants to help them maintain sustainable employment.
 * Mentor participants and offer specialised assistance to address workplace or personal barriers.
 * Engage with local communities, industries, and stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
 * Monitor placement progress and outcomes and communicate any risks to relevant team members.
 * Run and analyse participants' reported hours and income, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance
 * Maintain clear and compliant records of participants' ongoing employment, services provided, and participant support
 * Communicate proactively with team members regarding job loss or potential issues and act quickly to resolve problems.
 * Represent our organisation at networking events and within the community, upholding our Mission, Vision, and Values.
This role operates Full-Time in the Geelong region.
