Overview
The Raytheon Australia Mobile Threat Training Emitting System (MTTES) program delivers an Electronic Warfare training capability for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and international partners. The Mission Lead is a key operational leadership position supporting all aspects of mission planning and execution of MTTES operations. The Mission Lead is principally responsible for delivering training effects from the Mission Control Centre (MCC). MTTES operates two MCCs located at RAAF Amberley and Delamere Air Weapons Range (NT) to support training deliveries across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and assist the development and execution of simulated Integrated Air Defence System (IADS) training scenarios for ADF and international flying activities.
* Execute delivery of IADS scenarios as the scenario lead within the MCC at RAAF Amberley and Delamere Air Weapons Range.
* Plan and execute training packages to achieve complex training effects.
* Brief, lead and debrief a team of operators and support staff within the MCC during mission execution.
* Provide accurate and succinct tactical execution debriefs to Defence customers/operators.
* Prepare written reports, briefings, analysis and tailored mission products for Defence customers/operators.
* Collaborate with ADF planning executives to develop effective and achievable MTTES operational plans.
* Provide leadership, supervision, management and mentoring to team members.
* Operate, monitor and employ the battle management system to support training package execution.
* Collaborate in the design, development and execution of emergent multi-domain scenarios to support training outcomes.
* Provide timely, accurate and relevant post-mission data to enable and enhance end-user debrief and analysis.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum five years of experience in Military Air Operations, C2ISR, intelligence support to operations, and/or training system development/instructional delivery.
* Proven understanding of military EW systems and/or adversary IADS.
* Demonstrated ability to work both as an individual and as a member of a team.
* Knowledge of operational technical intelligence processing, exploitation and dissemination processes.
* Strongly developed interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders at an operational level.
* Demonstrated ability to develop solutions that meet complex customer requirements.
* Eligibility to hold and maintain a minimum NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance.
