A leading project delivery organization in Canberra is seeking a Business Development Manager. You will drive growth across Defence, government, and private sectors by securing new projects and managing client partnerships.
About the Role
You will be responsible for driving business growth through securing new projects and managing existing client relationships. This role requires strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects from initiation to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth targets
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other key partners
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through tendering and proposal writing
* Manage and coordinate project deliverables to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3-5 years of B2B sales experience
* Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
* A strong understanding of the Defence, government, and private sectors, with knowledge of market trends and developments
