A leading food manufacturing company based in Rowville is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team on a full‐time permanent night shift.

The Role
This is a hands‐on maintenance position responsible for preventative and reactive (breakdown) maintenance across production equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, efficiency, and secure operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults
* Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveyors, pumps, and valves
* Carry out general mechanical maintenance and repairs
* Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
* Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and OHS standards
* Provide technical support to production teams to minimise downtime
About You
* Previous experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing, food production, or FMCG
* Cert III in Mechanical/Fitting & Turning highly regarded but not essential
* Robust fault‐finding and troubleshooting skills
* Experience with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
* Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics preferred
* Reliable, hands‐on, and proactive with a strong safety focus
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Welding, fabrication, or forklift licence experience highly regarded but not essential
