Join Our Compliance & Parking Services Team as a Special Project Officer
The Compliance & Parking Services Branch is seeking a highly motivated and organized Special Project Officer to play a key role in driving positive change for our branch and the broader community.
Make a Difference Through Strategic Project Management
Apply strong project‐management skills and strategic thinking to support service innovation and improvement. Lead complex projects, collaborate with multi‐disciplinary teams, and build strong stakeholder relationships across areas including animal management, local laws, construction enforcement, health protection, parking, planning enforcement, and more.
What You'll Deliver
* Lead and manage multiple high‐impact projects from conception through to completion, fostering effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
* Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, and timelines, providing regular progress updates and reporting on key performance metrics.
* Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date project documentation, including issue and risk logs, policies, procedural manuals, and activity reports.
* Build and sustain strong working relationships across the branch and collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
* Undertake research and analysis to support project objectives, identify risks, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
Who You Are
* A highly motivated and results‐focused professional with demonstrated experience in project delivery.
* Proven ability to plan, manage, and coordinate projects to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
* An excellent communicator, with strong written and verbal skills and the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
* Highly organized, with a sound understanding of project documentation and record‐keeping practices.
* Experienced in fostering collaboration and building effective stakeholder relationships at all levels.
* Experience working in a Compliance and/or Parking environment, or a similar regulatory setting, is highly regarded.
* A sound understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and statutory requirements is desirable.
