Civil Construction Operators & Labourers – Multiple Vacancies | North-West Coast.
Due to continued internal growth, we are seeking multiple full-time Civil Construction Operators / Labourers to join our team and assist with civil construction, subdivision and airport projects. These positions are based on Tasmania's North-West Coast, with FIFO positions also upcoming in QLD.
Key Responsibilities
Labourer(s)
* Carry out general labouring and manual tasks associated with civil construction and subdivision works, including site setup, clean-up, trenching and pipe laying
* Assist with the operation of basic plant and equipment
* Adhere to all site safety standards, policies and procedures
* Safely and effectively operate small plant, tools and equipment
* Provide support to machinery operators and trades personnel on site
Operator(s)
* Can operate multiple plant and equipment, excavator - essential
* Show previous subdivision experience
* Previous experience with 3D GPS – advantageous
* Maintain all equipment to a high standard
* Follow and abide by all company policies and procedures
* Hold a strong understanding of safety procedures
* Have the ability to communicate clearly
About You
* Hold a current Australian driver's licence and have reliable transport
* Hold a valid White Card (Construction Induction)
* Have previous experience operating various plant and equipment (Multi-Skilled)
* Have previous experience working in a civil construction or labouring role
* Previous experience operating plant and machinery will be highly regarded
* Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on outdoor work
* Self-motivated, reliable, and safety-focused
* Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment
