**Remuneration**: $104,180 - 111,746 per annum + 12% Superannuation
**Looking for a dynamic role that creates a positive impact on young people in family-based care post-guardianship?**
The Out of Home Care Directorate is seeking a **Supervisor** to join their team in the Stability in Family-Based Care Unit on a full-time term basis.
**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Provide a professional social work practice and support the needs of young people under the guardianship of the Chief Executive.
- Contribute to staff development by providing ongoing training, mentoring and opportunities for professional growth.
- Interact with a broad range of stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Undertake a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership and driving business planning initiatives across the department.
- Participate in project and program development work related to the Stability in Family-Base Care program.
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
- Experience in working within the child protection sector, and providing high level accurate advice relating to initiatives, programs and objectives.
- Proficiency in analysing problems, facilitating constructive discussions and evaluating desired outcomes.
- Experience in a social work or case management capacity working directly with children and families.
- Knowledge and understanding of the issues impacting on Aboriginal children and families and over-representation in the care system.

**Essential Qualifications**
A degree level qualification in Social Work which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
