Overview
We are urgently seeking your administration skills and experience for a three month temporary assignment with a Queensland Government department.
Starting asap (working Monday to Friday, there is potential that this assignment could extend based on business needs.)
Responsibilities
Providing support within the Coal Inspectorate ensuring that office procedures and systems are efficient, priorities and deadlines are met in accordance with departmental procedures and policies.
Manage travel requirements for the Coal Mines Inspectorate ensuring compliance with travel policy and procedures.
Completing financial administration tasks (including data entry)
Manage the flow of correspondence from internal and external stakeholders, including assisting with RTI responses.
Creating and maintaining accurate records including taking minutes for internal and external meetings
Qualifications
Strong customer service and administrative experience
Confidence learning and using computer systems (including MS Suite, ExpenseMePro, CTM, eDocs)
Fast and accurate keyboarding skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a multi-function team as well as independently
Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
Due to the nature and responsibilities of this position, consent to a national criminal history check will be required prior to any offer of employment being made (and any record of disclosable court outcomes or pending charges will be considered based on relevance to the position being applied for).
