The Role We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join a busy cotton ginning warehouse operation in Whitton, NSW. This workplace is a fast-paced industrial environment where teamwork, safety, and efficiency are essential during the cotton processing season. In this role, you will operate forklifts to safely move cotton bales and materials around the warehouse while supporting daily production operations. The role is hands-on and requires flexibility to work rotating shifts in a busy seasonal environment. Key Responsibilities Support safe and efficient warehouse operations by operating forklifts and assisting with cotton bale handling during the ginning season. Operate forklifts to move, stack and store cotton bales Scan bales and manage stock movements in the warehouse system Assist with loading, unloading and organising warehouse stock Complete daily equipment checks and report faults Follow workplace safety procedures and site guidelines Maintain clean and organised work areas Work flexible shifts including overtime during peak periods Benefits Hourly rate of $33.91 per hour Shift loading Approximately 12 weeks Roster typically operates 6 days on, 2 days off, within a 24/7 operation. The casual hourly rate will apply during the off-season, with the applicable seasonal rate applying once the ginning season begins, in accordance with the Award.
