Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to oversee the smooth execution of our northwest fleet's daily activities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient scheduling and optimal utilization of our transport resources. This includes coordinating fleet movements, managing heavy haulage requirements, and prioritizing safety above all else.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and monitor fleet movements to maximize efficiency
* Manage heavy haulage and road transport requirements
* Implement robust safety protocols and ensure compliance
* Lead a high-performing team of transport professionals
* Bailee operation optimization strategies with stakeholder engagement and excellent customer service skills
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Logistics Operations Manager or similar role
* Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams
* Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
* Solid understanding of customer service principles and external relationship building
* A valid driver's license and willingness to work in the Pilbara region
* Pilbara region geographical knowledge is highly desirable
