Overview
Pinctada Hotel is a member of the Paspaley Pearls Group, which was founded in 1952, and is now a diverse assembly of companies. While Paspaley core business is in pearling, it also has extensive involvement in engineering, aviation, agriculture, hospitality and resort accommodation businesses and commercial property. A unique opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Supervisor at the Pinctada Hotel, just minutes from the turquoise waters and white sands of famous Cable Beach. The hotel is in one of WA's iconic tourist towns, surrounded by tropical gardens, capturing Broome's essence with its design and luxury facilities.
Restaurant Supervisor Role: The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in managing and organising daily restaurant operations to control costs and provide a high-quality experience to guests.
Areas of operation range from staff management and training to event coordination and inventory management. An integral part of the role is liaising with the Executive Chef to improve the guests' experience.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Restaurant Manager to lead, train and motivate the Front of House team to ensure high levels of performance, professionalism, and guest service. Oversee daily staffing requirements, schedules and assignments, ensuring adequate coverage and operational efficiency. Foster a culture of teamwork, respect and accountability among all staff.
* Establish and maintain cleanliness standards in the restaurant and back-of-house areas. Ensure all stock is rotated to ensure freshness and that wine and beverages are stored at the correct temperatures. Oversee inventory and ordering of beverages and consumables.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that supplies are used efficiently to minimise waste. Ensure every team member can sell hotel facilities and is aware of any special promotions. Consistently deliver a product and service to meet the quality, standards and expectations of guests while delivering the promises made by the Sales Team.
* Work closely with other departments (e.g., Front desk, maintenance, and kitchen) to ensure smooth operations and address cross-departmental issues.
