We are looking for a business leader to join our retail store leadership team at The Trybe Southland. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering and executing the brand vision, establishing a high-performance culture within your store, operational excellence, and ensuring a fun and joyful customer experience for both parents and children.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with your Store Manager and Area Manager to foster a people-first culture, maximize sales growth, and accelerate your personal career development in a leadership capacity.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring efficient store operations to meet sales targets, KPIs, store presentation standards, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage management
* Motivating your team to achieve KPI and added value targets
* Monitoring sales to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals, recognizing achievements, and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Managing wage costs in line with targets and rostering standards
* Coaching and mentoring team members to maintain high morale and support their development through training and succession planning
* Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation

To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Experience as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC
* A motivated and proactive attitude
* A passion for leading and inspiring teams
* A proven record of driving sales and achieving KPIs
* Operational expertise in stock control and visual merchandising
