Job Description
Colliers is appointing a newly created Civil Engineer to the Sunshine Coast office, reporting to the Director and supported by a national team of over 260 experts. The role leads project delivery teams to achieve client commitments and build advocacy and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver projects from due diligence through development application, design coordination and contract administration.
- Negotiate with stakeholders (clients, authorities, consultants) to ensure successful delivery of approvals, applications and contractual matters.
- Develop relationships with potential clients and maintain existing client relationships.
- Assist Principal Engineers with forecasted workloads toables.
- Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth.
- Manage commercial risk and demonstrate responsible judgement.
- Recruit, manage, train and mentor staff.
- Manage financial targets including budgets and profitability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience planning and managing projects through all delivery stages.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Experience budgeting, commercial acumen, and risk management.
- High level industry awareness and engagement.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- REPQ certification desirable.
