Executive Assistant for CEO and Chairperson. CEQ seeks a dedicated individual to fill the pivotal roles of Secretary to the Board of Management and Executive Assistant to the Chairperson and CEO. The role supports CEQ’s governance, executive, compliance, and strategic objectives, with work across Cairns Support Office and occasional travel to remote communities. CEQ operates in 31 retail stores across remote locations, providing access to quality fresh food, groceries, and essential services. The position involves travel to other locations, often by air or watercraft, and responsibilities may include experience in Country. The successful candidate will demonstrate a blend of knowledge, experience, and personal attributes, with strong organisational, written, and oral communication skills, confidentiality, professionalism, and problem-solving abilities. The role supports CEQ’s strategic plan and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, while fostering cross-cultural teamwork and an inclusive work setting.
