Existing within the precinct of one of Sydney's most prestigious universities, our client is on the hunt of an Event Sales Executive to manage events from the sale + contract stage through to delivery + execution.
This role is perfect for someone from an events or hospitality background looking to elevate their career.
**The role**:
- Manage all events from the inception through to the final event order
- Regular communication + account management of all clients. Managing expectations and delivering results.
- Attend meetings and collaborate with all departments to deliver successful events
- Use your expertise and market intel to ad input the overall sales strategy
- Achieve weekly + monthly goals and develop sales strategy to achieve these
- You will possess prior sales experience in a similar hotel or venue sales role
- Experience in venue sales or broader MICE market desired
- Understanding of the lifecycle of an event
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and high standards of personal presentation
- Driven, motivated and outgoing
- Fluent English - verbal and written
**Salary & benefits**:
- $65000 - $75000 plus super
