Arcadia College seeks a dedicated and experienced Teacher Aide to support the academic learning of students in a co-ed independent special assistance secondary school.
The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis (32 hours per week) under the supervision of a QLD Registered teacher, providing individualized support to students with their academic learning.
* Implementing and documenting adjustments for National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD).
* Assisting in numeracy and literacy programs to promote student growth and development.
* Supporting students with special needs, including maintaining anecdotal records for reviewing student progress.
* Contributing to the welfare, health, and safety of students through effective teamwork and communication.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum Certificate 3 Educational Support qualification.
* Current Paid Qld Working With Children Blue Card.
* Experience working as a Teacher Aide in a Secondary Educational setting, preferably in a Special Assistance School.
* Ability to communicate effectively and display high interpersonal skills as an effective team member.
