About The Role
As a CBRE Critical Services Manager, you will manage the department that resolves and completes day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction. This role is part of the Critical and Technical Services function, responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

What You'll Do
* Provide formal supervision, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruitment of new employees.
* Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross‐train staff, and track departmental deadlines.
* Review work logs and outstanding items using the in‐house system to ensure completion; retain records and present to client upon request.
* Require contractors and staff to comply with all company, client, safety, and security requirements; approve new vendors and maintain relationships with current ones.
* Develop and implement critical services training programs.
* Meet regularly with senior management and key stakeholders to provide status reports.
* Share advanced expertise and industry experience to help resolve operational problems.
* Evaluate Planned Preventative Maintenance assessments of plant and equipment, approving improvements and upgrades.
* Confirm all out‐of‐line situations are documented with incident reports and resolved timely.
* Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, influencing parties to reach agreements.
* Apply knowledge of your discipline and its integration with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‐to‐day and moderately complex issues that may not be evident in existing systems or processes.
What You'll Need
* Bachelor's degree preferred (4–7 years of relevant experience). Combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Experience in Data Center / Critical Infrastructure environments.
* Experience in financial management and relevant operating expenditure.
* Develop & build strong vendor engagement and management.
* Strong management experience with a collaborative mindset to serve one common purpose.
* Strong electrical background/HV component knowledge and understanding of AC/HVAC cooling systems for Data Centers.
* Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
* Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
* Ability to handle sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and resolve problems.
* Leadership skills to motivate the team and impact quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the discipline and department.
* In‐depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
* Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
* Must have Australian work rights at time of application; citizenship is priority or permanent resident status. NV1 vetting required; existing clearance welcomed.
