Job Title
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef/Cook to join our team in providing high-quality meals and snacks for children.
This is a part-time role working 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
You will have experience in menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering and control, as well as ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment. You will also be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role. A current Working with Children's Check and a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook meals and snacks for children in accordance with nutrition guidelines

Our centre caters for up to 90 children with operating hours from 6:30am-6:30pm. Our menus meet nutritional guidelines and are high-quality, allowing young bodies to thrive both mentally and physically.
