**Job Title:** Senior Nurse Leader
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Surgical Services team.
* Providing expert nursing care and overseeing daily patient outcomes is a key responsibility of this role.
* The successful candidate will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, supporting staff performance management, recruitment, rostering, and resource planning.
* Mentoring and guiding students and less experienced staff in clinical education is an essential part of this position.
About You:
* You must be a Registered Nurse or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practicing certificate.
* A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience in surgical nursing and paediatric surgical nursing is required.
* Supervising student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses is also a necessary skill.
* You should have a strong knowledge of relevant legislation, industrial agreements, ethical standards, and quality improvement systems in healthcare.
