**The role**
The Area Manager Mobile Distribution will drive outcomes for our customers through strong strategic leadership and a focus on customer acquisition activities. They will work with their team in expanding the network and scope of our business for consumer lending products. They will have a strong focus on people leadership and talent development and will be responsible for leading and driving the performance of a Mobile Distribution Team, which is a key acquisition channel for our Retail Bank.
The Area Manager Mobile Distribution is responsible for the overall financial performance of a Mobile Team, with a focus on building the success of others for mutual benefit.
This is a leadership role and whilst technical and operational experience will be an asset, the skills vital to this role are:
- Ability to establish and deliver on a Mobile Distribution Business Plan aligned to Strategic Plans
- Unwavering focus on people capability and development
- Having established networks in key markets for talent acquisition
- Strong customer focus and drive, with the ability to execute on customer acquisition and retention strategies
- Ability to contribute to change and creating a culture of accountability and high performance
This position will be based in **Metro** **Sydney **where you will be leading a team of Mobile Lenders who are geographically dispersed across **Metro Sydney and Wollongong**, where the team are virtually connected, working mobile.
**Your knowledge & experience**
- In-depth understanding and previous work experience within the Banking industry, ideally within retail sales leadership capacity
- Established ability to nurture and develop Mobile Lender talent within NSW
- Highly accountable as a leader and have advanced skills in right recruitment, development and performance management
- Strong Business Development and Networking skills
- Proven track record of leading successful mobile/sales distribution teams delivering superior results year on year (advantageous)
- Established network across Australia, particularly within Metro Sydney and broader NSW to grow the team in line with organisational objectives.
