The Team Leader (Clinical Support) role provides high level executive support to the Internal Medicine Department in conjunction with leading a team of clinical support officers to provide a support function to the Clinical Directors within the Medical Service Group.

* Salary range: $3586.00 to $3950.80 p.f. (AO4)
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
* 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading

The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
* Proven ability to operationally manage a small administration team within a complex and diverse multidisciplinary environment, including a demonstrated ability to provide confident leadership and supervision skills.
* Proven ability to maintain and monitor performance measures, whilst setting realistic goals, objectives and priorities and take remedial action where necessary.
* Ability to develop and implement processes to streamline workplace practices creating efficiencies within limited resources.
* Demonstrated high level communication, negotiation and consultative skills in a challenging multidisciplinary environment.
* Proven ability to use initiative, prioritise, problem solve, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while working autonomously
* Possession of a high level of administrative and secretarial skills and the proven ability to prepare complex documents, agendas and minutes whilst maintaining patient confidentiality and providing an effective customer focused service.
* High level interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (displaying tact and diplomacy when dealing with patients and staff).
* Demonstrated ability in rostering practices and sound knowledge of basic rostering guidelines.
* Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and schedule work to meet strict deadlines and commitments, and to be flexible in changing work environment whilst being able to work autonomously and maintain a high volume of work to ensure all targets and deadlines are achieved.
