About the role
We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused Maintenance Coordinator to join our growing property management team. This is a hands-on role working closely with our Business Development team, coordinating maintenance works, managing trades and regularly attending properties.
If you enjoy having fun on the day to day, problem-solving, building strong relationships with local trades and being out in the field rather than stuck behind a desk all the time, this role will suit you perfectly.
You’ll play a key role in helping our department run like a well-oiled machine - ensuring maintenance is handled efficiently, transparently, and to a high standard for our group spanning seven offices.
Key responsibilities
* Coordinate maintenance requests from start to finish
* Arrange and manage quotes, work orders and following up of trades
* Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable, high-quality local trades
* Attend properties as required to assess issues and meet trades
* Liaise closely with the Business Development team to support new managements and onboarding
* Communicate clearly with rental providers and trades
* Understand and guide of key, basic compliance requirements
* Use industry-leading property management technology to manage workflows and reporting
* Support consistency, transparency and best practice maintenance processes across all offices within the one small team
What we’re looking for
* Experience in property management, maintenance coordination, trades management or a similar role is ideal, but not required
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Confident dealing with trades and owners
* Practical, solutions-focused mindset with attention to detail
* Comfortable working independently and across multiple offices within the BDM team
* Enjoys being on the road and out on site, not confined to an office all day, but comfortable with computer skills
* Professional, reliable and approachable
Mandatory requirements
* Current Agent’s Representative Certificate (Victoria)
* Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
What we offer
* A supportive, close-knit, award winning team with excellent communication and transparency
* A dynamic role with variety - no two days are the same
* Exposure to multiple offices and a diverse wider team, training and events
* Industry-leading technology to streamline workflows
* Existing strong trade networks and the opportunity to build long-term professional relationships
* A workplace that values diversity, collaboration and practical thinking
* An already created system for you to slot in to and make your own – we’re not afraid of changing it up
Why join us?
We’re a growing business that values people who take ownership, build relationships and genuinely care about doing things well. You’ll be trusted, supported and given the autonomy to make a real impact - without being micromanaged or stuck at a desk all day. We’re an award-winning team with areas to excel, grow and promote in to.
