**The Role**
BTG Specialty Pharmaceuticals develops, manufactures and commercializes life-saving antidotes used in hospitals and emergency care settings. Be an active member of the BTG production team whilst assisting to conduct the immunisation and bleeding programs and associated activities for the production of antibodies in the BTG sheep flock, including the maintenance of appropriate records and documentation. You will also assist in the maintenance of the production facility buildings and operation.
This role will see you supporting the production of low bio-burden serum from the blood harvested in the production facility by:
- Following all standard operating procedures that are in use within the production unit.
- Contributing to the development of safe and productive work practises to optimise productivity.
- Ensuring all documentation of bleeding, immunisation, test bleeding, health management and sheep identification are completed accurately on a daily basis.
- Ensuring that any routine animal husbandry practises are carried out on an industry 'best practise' basis.
You will also carry out other reasonable tasks as required by the senior production technicians, and ensure that any animal health issues are reported immediately to the production supervisor, a senior production technician or a veterinarian.

- A current drivers license.
- The ability to work in a close team environment.
- Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
- A tertiary qualification in Animal Technology/Agriculture or similar would be desirable.
- Front end loader/telehander licenses would be advantageous.
- Proficient IT skills, mainly in Microsoft Office suite.
