Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a career driven Estimator looking for a Full Time opportunity with an established and respected company. This role sits within a growing civil construction portfolio and offers excellent stability and career development in the current market.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Pre-Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive and commercially sound estimates across a diverse range of civil contracts.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparing accurate and reliable cost estimates for a wide variety of civil construction projects.
* Working closely with key stakeholders including engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.
* Developing clear and comprehensive scopes of work to support each estimate.
* Ensuring estimates are supported by robust data to drive successful project outcomes.
* Maintaining strong awareness of industry conditions, market trends and pricing movements.
* Applying strong attention to detail in this hands on technically focused role.
What You Will Bring:
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Proven experience in civil consruction estimating role with strong outcomes.
* Confidence in using estimating tools and interpreting construction documentation.
* Strong analytical skills with excellent numeracy and literacy.
* The ability to effectively manage time, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
* A collaborative approach, with the ability to work autonomously when required.
* A proactive mindset with a genuine \"can do\" attitude.
