Synergy Australia is seeking multiple General Storeperson/Pick Packers AND Warehouse Cleaners for our long-standing and trusted FMCG client located at their warehouse in Balcatta.
The important parts:
* Current vacancies for candidates who are flexible on either day or night shift over a 7 day availability.
* Ideally have full time availability for coverage
* Award Payrate starts at $31.19 per hour plus shift allowances and penalties as applicable
* Immediate starts required
What you will be required to do:
We are looking for experienced Store People / Pick Packers
* Pick and pack (will be required to lift crates up to 20 kg and operate electric pallet moving machine - no license required / training will be provided on site, would prefer previous experience)
* Repack (will be required to lift crates up to 20 kg, will involve assembling boxes, lifting crates of product, moving dairy products from crates to boxes, taping and stacking onto pallets)
* Empty crate handling and sorting
We are also looking for experienced Warehouse Cleaners
* Operate cleaning equipment including ride-on and walk behind (training will be provided and no license required)
* Operate counter balance forklift (licence required) to transport plastic and cardboard to external bins for disposal
* Use of cleaning chemicals and hose to clean cleaning equipment including mops/buckets and cleaning machinery
* General cleaning duties (emptying bins, collecting rubbish, sweeping/mopping) - a task list will be provided with training
To be successful in the role you will:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Must be comfortable operating electronic pallet jacks
* LF licence would be considered an advantage (required for certain positions)
* Have full working rights in Australia
* Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work
* Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
* Be able to pass a pre-employment functional capacity assessment
* Casual with the opportunity for permanent for the right applicant
