Emergency Medicine Specialist
The Armidale Rural Referral Hospital is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join its emergency medicine team.
As a key member of the hospital’s emergency department, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care
* Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers
* Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
Requirements:
* Primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or equivalent
* Recent and comprehensive experience in General Practice
* Completion of an Emergency Life Support course and skill/experience in Emergency Medicine
* Maintains medical professional development and has the ability to assist other staff
* Skilled communicator, including both oral and written skills
* Collaborator, including the ability to network and operate within an interdisciplinary framework
* Manager, including ability to be flexible and cope with a changing health system
* Professional, including continued professional development, peer review and other forms of clinical governance
