Key Responsibilities
The Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a skilled clinician to provide recovery-focused clinical services for older people with mental illness or dementia symptoms.
Core Duties:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored care plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Deliver evidence-based interventions and coordinate care to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaboration and communication are key aspects of this role, requiring strong interpersonal skills to engage with consumers, families, and carers.
Eligibility Criteria
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist, or equivalent qualifications for Social Worker, Counsellor, or Welfare Officer.
* Demonstrated expertise in contemporary Older Persons Mental Health practice, including mental health assessments and interventions.
* Understanding of mental health rehabilitation and recovery principles with a strengths-based approach to care.
