As a Geotechnical Driller at EI Australia, you will play a vital role in the company's engineering operations. This full-time position is based in Wetherill Park, NSW and involves the crucial task of collecting soil and rock samples to assist in the design and construction of various infrastructure projects.
What you'll be doing
Operating and maintaining geotechnical drilling equipment to extract soil and rock samples from project sites
Accurately recording data and preparing detailed reports on the samples collected
Collaborating with geotechnical engineers and project managers to ensure the timely and successful completion of drilling activities
Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations on site
Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on drilling equipment
What we're looking for
Significant experience as a Geotechnical Driller, ideally in the construction or infrastructure industry
Strong knowledge of drilling techniques and equipment, including soil and rock sampling procedures
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately record and report technical data
A valid driver's licence and the ability to work safely on active construction sites
A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering professionals
