Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Recruitment Manager to lead Curtin's international student recruitment efforts across the Americas and Europe. In this role, you will oversee relationships with Curtin's registered agents, schools and partners within the region, implement strategic recruitment plans and policies, drive student engagement, and achieve enrolment targets. The role requires a high level of autonomy, cultural awareness, and expertise in international education markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop opportunities for market development and expansion of international student recruitment in designated regions.
* Collaborate with International Recruitment Consultants to develop and implement effective conversion strategies for the region.
* Promote Curtin courses, campuses, articulation agreements, and evaluate all recruitment activities in designated regions, providing accurate, relevant, and up-to-date information.
* Ensure coordination across University, Faculty, Regional, and Recruitment plans through ongoing consultation with Regional Deans, Deans International, and aligned Global Curtin teams.
* Manage, monitor, and report on the service delivery of Curtin's international agents in their region, adhering to relevant contracts and established KPIs.
* Establish and nurture networks with Curtin staff, government representatives, industry associates, feeder and pathway institutions for effective recruitment in designated regions.
Selection Criteria
* Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate study, combined with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, and training.
* A strong understanding of the international student recruitment sector, including legislative requirements, industry structures, market dynamics, and current trends.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consult, negotiate, and build meaningful relationships with stakeholders from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
* Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead teams, work independently, and take initiative to drive projects to completion.
* High-level organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Desirable
* Conversational fluency in one or more languages other than English.
* Experience in student recruitment across the Americas and European regions.
Role Requirements
* Permanent work rights in Australia for this continuing role.
