**Key responsibilities**:
- Lead the development, delivery and support of strategic media and communication plans, including the establishment of measures to evaluate ongoing impact and effectiveness of communication projects;
- Provide high level communications advice and support to the CJIO, senior management and relevant government agencies;
- Develop, prepare and lead communication projects including publications, media releases, options for polling and relevant surveys, presentations, events and news articles; and
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) to support the implementation of CJIO initiatives and identify further communication activities.
