The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Assistant Director of Nursing (Clinical Lead Projects - Infrastructure Planning) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
* Provide expert clinical and timely advice to key stakeholders on transformation and change
* Lead change management initiatives, project management and project delivery services
* Develop complex project business cases, project plans, progress reports and closure reports
* Collaborate on identifying opportunities for innovation, improvement, and strategic development
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
* Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
* Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
* Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
* Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

* Base salary ranging from $160 507 - $168 284 per annum

The Infrastructure Planning, Delivery and Commissioning team supports service delivery across a range of Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) services through:
* Facilitating strategic partnerships to improve GCHHS commerciality, performance and innovation.
* Identifying opportunities, developing business cases and managing implementation of alternate models of services delivered based on creating best value for money.
* Facilitating the development, management and delivery of major capital/infrastructure programs and projects.
* Leading the procurement and commissioning of major capital and equipment and managing interfaces with third parties.
