About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Social Worker to join our Forensic Mental Health Service as a Court Report Writer / Victim Register Coordinator.
Within the framework of the National Mental Health Policy and the National Standards for Mental Health Services 2010 and in a manner consistent with the stated Vision and Values of NALHN, the Victim Register Coordinator provides effective and high-quality services to Victims and Next of Kin.
In this role, you will assist the Forensic Court Service team to deliver a broad range of services to the States courts and agencies of the Criminal Justice System.
Key responsibilities include:
* coordinating victim registration processes within forensic mental health settings
* providing social work support and advocacy for victims and their families
* maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with legislative requirements
* collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, nurses and legal professionals
* facilitating communication between victims, services and relevant stakeholders
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.

To thrive in this role, you should possess experience in forensic mental health or mental health services or victim services, strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate skills and sensitivity in working with people in crisis and dealing with loss and grief.
