Job Description:

* Develop, install, and maintain electronic monitoring and control systems for water and sewer assets.
* Support the operation and performance of SCADA systems.
* Monitor system performance and contribute to maintenance programs and short-term capital planning.
* Provide technical support to mechanical and electrical teams and assist other business areas as required.
* Work collaboratively within the water unit, demonstrating flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong client service focus.

Requirements:

* A qualified professional with a NSW Electrical or Contractors Licence and a minimum of two years' relevant experience.
* Strong technical expertise, including Certificate IV in Instrumentation (or equivalent experience), and demonstrated competence in installing, maintaining, and calibrating instrumentation.
* Proven experience with PLC programming (Ladder Logic / Function Block), SCADA systems, and Radio Telemetry Systems.
* In-depth knowledge of water supply, sewage treatment processes, and the ability to design, implement, and manage control systems and complex plant circuitry.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and collaborate on process improvements.
