Our Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Plant & Equipment Co Ordinator / Workshop Supervisor with relevant experience for an immediate start.
The role will be 50% Perth based and 50% Site based (We have various projects across metro and regional areas). Site uplift pending on roster.
The Workshop Supervisor will focus on the day-to-day operation of the fabrication process, ensuring manufacturing team members have access to the correct information, tooling and materials to complete works to specification in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management
Maintain accurate asset register for all plant and equipment.
Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance and repairs.
Monitor equipment utilization, availability, and reliability.
Coordinate mobilization/demobilization of plant to project sites.
Workshop Supervision
Lead workshop team (fitters, technicians, apprentices).
Allocate jobs, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards.
Enforce safety protocols and conduct toolbox meetings.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all plant meets statutory and site compliance requirements.
Maintain inspection records, certifications, and pre-start checks.
Implement and monitor HSE procedures in workshop and field.
Inventory & Procurement
Manage spare parts, consumables, and tooling inventory.
Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers for timely delivery.
Reporting
Prepare weekly/monthly reports on fleet status, downtime, and costs.
Track KPIs: availability, PM compliance, breakdown frequency
