Partner, Head of Asset Management Services (QLD) We are seeking a Partner, Head of Asset Management Services, QLD, who will be instrumental in driving the financial success of our QLD AMS business.
This pivotal role requires you to build a high-performing and engaged team recognized for its excellence and to cultivate strong client relationships to foster business growth and enhance revenue and margins.
Reporting directly to the Partner, Managing Director, Queensland, you will be responsible for leadership, people and portfolio management, client relationship management, business development, and financial oversight.
This key leadership position contributes to Knight Frank Australia's reputation as a trusted advisor with a client-centric and progressive culture.
Key responsibilities: Drive the financial performance of the QLD AMS business, ensuring it tracks on or above budget and that new work is priced with suitable margins.
Build and maintain strong relationships within the property industry and with clients to generate new business opportunities and convert prospects into new managements.
Ensure the QLD AMS business delivers high standards of service across all managed assets, with managements under fully executed agreements and timely completion of outgoings reconciliations.
Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including national leadership, and enhance relationships with clients to secure continued business opportunities.
Lead and develop a high-performing QLD AMS team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and enjoyment, and ensuring strong retention of top talent.
Negotiate and maintain QLD management agreements and contribute to national agreements as required.
Identify and leverage referral and cross-selling opportunities within AMS nationally and for other Knight Frank departments.
Who are we looking for?
A relevant degree, such as a Bachelor of Business (Property) (preferred) Real estate license or Certificate of Registration (essential) A minimum of 12 years of previous experience in the Property Industry, with strong Asset/Property Management specific experience and a proven track record in strategically growing an asset management business.
Significant experience in negotiating management agreements and managing and reporting on a P&L.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a broad range of stakeholders.
Solid financial management acumen and the ability to track and improve business performance.
A commitment to high standards of service, professionalism, and attention to detail.
