About the Role (PDI + Final Detail / Clean)
This role is the final step before delivery. You will complete structured pre-delivery inspections and final detailing/cleaning to ensure every caravan leaves our workshop clean, presentable, and quality-checked.
This is not a repair role — you do not need to be a caravan mechanic. What matters most is that you are careful, consistent, organized, and comfortable using a smartphone/tablet to record checks and take photos.
When there are no caravans waiting for PDI or detailing, you'll support the workshop team with general all-round tasks and basic assembly assistance as directed.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)
* Follow a structured PDI checklist (company-provided)
* Inspect presentation, fit & finish, and basic function checks
* Identify issues clearly and log them accurately for rectification
* Take photos and record notes using a phone/tablet
Detailing / Final Clean
* Interior and exterior final clean before customer handover
* Prepare the caravan to a \"handover-ready\" standard
* Check accessories and presentation items are complete and tidy
All-Round / Workshop Support / Assemble (when required)
* Assist with general assembly support tasks (non-specialist)
* Help move caravans / set up work areas / basic hands-on support
* Keep the PDI/cleaning area organised and stocked
What We're Looking For
* High attention to detail and pride in doing things properly
* Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a repeatable process
* Confident using a smartphone/tablet to record, photograph, and report
* Proficiency in using smartphone/tablet applications and taking photos for recording and reporting purposes
* Comfortable working in a workshop environment
* Good communication — able to explain issues clearly to the team
* Ability to work independently and keep standards consistent
* Valid work visa or appropriate Australian work rights
Experience helpful (but not required):
* Vehicle detailing, caravan/RV cleaning, QA/QC, PDI, automotive industry, or manufacturing
