Job Overview
* Liaise with clients, architects and main contractors to identify opportunities for collaboration.
* Undertake a range of traditional quantity surveying tasks including estimating, planning, cost management and financial reporting.
* Apply sound financial acumen to ensure maximum value is derived from client projects.
* Conduct thorough evaluations and analysis of tenders, cash flow projections, procurement, cost reporting, variation assessments, valuations, final account preparation and claims negotiation.
* Develop processes to improve consistency, accuracy and efficiency in cost modelling and planning.
Requirements
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
* Full working rights in Australia and current residence within the country.
* Candidates holding RICS / AIQS accreditation will be highly regarded.
* Proficiency in using Cost X software is required.
