REMOTE AREA NURSES | NORTHERN TERRITORY | CHRISTMAS CONTRACTS
Spend Christmas in the Top End and secure some of the highest rates in the country. We are seeking experienced Remote Area Nurses to support multiple Northern Territory communities over the December-January period.
Dates
Contracts available from early December to late January (6-12 weeks). Extensions available.
Locations
Positions available across NT remote communities including desert regions, coastal communities and Central Australia primary health clinics.
The Role
You will work independently delivering acute, primary health and emergency care across remote Aboriginal communities. Duties include chronic disease management, emergency response, primary healthcare, community support and on-call coverage. Nurses must be confident working autonomously and stepping into emergency presentations at any time.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years remote nursing experience
- MEC / REC / PHEC or equivalent
- ED Triage and ALS
- Strong emergency response capability
- Cultural awareness and ability to work autonomously
- Comfortable with on-call and 24/7 coverage models
Package
- $105-$110 per hour + super
- On-call allowances + penalties
- Return travel covered
- Free accommodation (varies by location)
