Role Description
Options available for full time, part time or contractor remote role for an Exercise Physiologist.
The Exercise Physiologist will design and deliver individualized exercise programs, perform assessments, and provide ongoing support for clients with diverse needs, including rehabilitation, chronic disease management, and injury prevention.
The role also involves collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal client outcomes.
Regular communication and documentation will be key in maintaining quality and consistency of care.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Exercise Physiology, with a solid understanding of human body systems
Expertise in Exercise Prescription and developing tailored wellness programs
Experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation and general Rehabilitation techniques to assist recovery and improve physical capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage with clients
Ability to work independently in a mobile or remote workplace
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology or a related field
Accreditation with ESSA (Exercise & Sports Science Australia) is required
Experience or familiarity with NDIS processes is an advantage
Current driver's license and access to reliable transportation for home visits
