Healthcare Australia (HCA) is a major provider of healthcare services across Australia, including primary care, allied health, recruitment, NDIS, care services, and training.

In December 2024, we began providing health, mental health, and wellbeing services across the onshore Immigration Detention Network (IDN). Our team of nurses, general practitioners, and allied health professionals offer a range of healthcare services, including health assessments, chronic disease management, health promotion, wound management, immunizations, and other primary health interventions. HCA also launched a 24/7 Virtual Care Centre (VCC), offering remote healthcare through telehealth and video consultations to enhance onsite care for detainees.

Job Description

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all administrative tasks associated with domestic and international medical related travel and associated activities. This role works closely with internal team members and external partners to ensure all medical travel related activities are processed accurately, efficiently, and with strong attention to detail. This is a fully remote role; however, you may be required to attend the office occasionally.

Day to day!

* Oversee all administrative components of travel assignments.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to coordinate every aspect of travel arrangements.
* Participate in pre and post assignment briefings, providing clear administrative and operational guidance to team members.
* Maintain accurate documentation, including timesheet management, reimbursements, itineraries, and action plans for both domestic and international travel.

We are seeking someone with strong organisational and coordination skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proven capacity to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will be confident using IT systems, with experience in Excel and Salesforce highly regarded.

The role requires someone who thrives in a fast‐paced, high‐pressure environment, demonstrating excellent time‐management, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. A strong team focus is essential, as is the ability to work with minimal supervision while delivering high‐quality work within tight deadlines.
