Our NSW facility plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality printed materials to some of the country’s biggest brands—and now we’re looking for a Finishing Operator to join the team.
About the Role
As a Finishing Operator, you'll work hands-on with folding machines, stitchers, and guillotines to ensure each job is completed with precision, efficiency, and pride. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining finishing equipment to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Please note, this role will initially be based at our Homebush, NSW facility and will relocate to our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Kemps Creek in the new year. Applicants should only apply if they are able to meet this location requirement.
Applicants must have full Australian Working Rights, this position is not open to sponsorship.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating folding, stitching, and guillotine machines in line with job specs
- Setting up machinery and producing check samples for approval
- Performing basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance
- Monitoring production to ensure quality output with minimal waste
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area
- Following schedules and communicating effectively with team members
- Participating in toolbox meetings and ongoing training
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience operating finishing equipment (folders, stitchers, guillotines)
- Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work
- Is mechanically minded and capable of minor machine maintenance
- Works well under pressure and can manage multiple jobs in a shift
- Has good communication skills and works collaboratively in a team
- Is safety-conscious and follows workplace procedures at all times
Previous experience in a print or mailhouse workplace is highly regarded.
