**About the Organisation**
Anglicare NSW South, NSW West and ACT is a not for profit, non-government organisation under the auspice of the Anglican Church. Their core mission is to provide care and support to the most disadvantaged people in our community. They provide community services across a variety of sectors - disability, early childhood education and care (ECEC), youth and family services, Out of Home Care (OOHC), homelessness, retirement living, stronger community and survive and thrive hubs, disaster recovery, emergency relief, financial and gambling counselling and training through the Anglicare College.
**About the Role**
The Community and Sales Manager will oversee the successful delivery of care amongst its resident cohort across two Independent Living Unit villages across the ACT. Managing a team across care, maintenance and administration - the Community and Sales Manager will ensure the day-to-day operational running of the village and resident-centred care.
**Key Responsibilities**
Reporting to the Manager Seniors Living, the Community and Sales Manager will be responsible for:
- Successful operation of the Village, ensuring all staff work together in product and village presentation, general day to day running's, budgets and overall resident satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the residents, their families, the community and service providers.
- Supervision of all village staff including, but not limited to, roster setting and leave approvals.
- Be responsible for the village financial performance in accordance with the village operating budget.
- Maximise occupancy rates through marketing of vacant.
- Ensure that the village is managed pursuant to all legislative requirements.
**About You**
- Demonstrated success in a similar level management role, with a proven track record in managing a multi-faceted service organisation.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of and empathy towards all people.
- Highly developed visual, verbal and written communication skills.
- Financial acumen and accounting skills.
- An understanding of budgets, contracts and capital works expenditure.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and commitments.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Management and/or Hospitality are desirable.
- First Aid Certificate (current).
- National Police Clearance (current)
- Triple vaccinated against COVID-19
- Working With Vulnerable People Registration (current)
Please note that this position is a Permanent Part Time opportunity - 27.5 hours per week, 5 days per week.
