At APCO, we’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is far more than a transactional accounting role — it’s an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the entire finance function while working directly with senior leaders in a fast-paced, dynamic business.
You’ll work closely with our Senior Finance Manager and gain real exposure to financial reporting, month-end processes, commercial operations and business performance across multiple entities. What You’ll Be Doing
* Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports across multiple business entities
* Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry, payments and bank reconciliations
* Support month-end and year-end close processes through journals and reconciliations
* Maintain accurate financial records and accounting system data
* Assist with BAS preparation, tax lodgements and audit/compliance activities
* Contribute to finance projects, process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
* Gain broad exposure to business operations and commercial finance activities
What We’re Looking For
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting
* Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and reconciliations
* Exposure to general ledger, AP/AR and financial reporting processes
* Experience using finance or ERP systems (highly regarded)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
* A genuine eagerness to learn, grow and build a long-term career in finance
