Responsibilities
* Cooking high quality, nutritious meals for senior residents
* Adapting dishes to suit dietary, allergy and modified food requirements
* Ensuring all food is prepared, cooked and served in accordance with legislation
To Be Successful
* Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or proven equivalent experience)
* Food Handling and Hygiene certificate
* Demonstrated leadership experience as a Chef, preferably in an aged care (or similar) environment.
* Previous experience in total kitchen operations and site management
* Demonstrated knowledge of State Food Safe regulations
* Experience managing staff, as well as food and operational costs
* Demonstrated knowledge regarding nutrition and the importance of dietary requirements
* Current national police check (or willingness to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Evidence of Australian work rights
