Contract Administrator – Multi-Residential Projects

Coomera, QLD | Office Based | Flexible Hours Available


Employment Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 + Super (Full-Time Equivalent, Pro-Rata Based on Agreed Hours)
Commencement: Immediate start available; commencement date negotiable for the right candidate.

Carlon Construction is an established Queensland building company delivering quality multi-residential and townhouse developments across Queensland. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team in an office-based role at our Coomera location.

We offer genuine flexibility, including school-hour arrangements, making this an ideal opportunity for an experienced professional seeking balance without stepping away from meaningful, high-quality construction work.


The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with project teams, you will play a central role in the commercial and administrative management of active developments. This position is suited to a detail-driven Contract Administrator who values structure, accountability, and well-run projects.


Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end administration of head contracts and subcontract agreements
* Preparation and assessment of progress claims and payment schedules
* Management of variations, extensions of time, and contractual documentation
* Cost control, forecasting, and budget reconciliation
* Subcontractor payment processing and retention management
* Compliance tracking including insurances, licences, SWMS and compliance certificates
* Liaison with site teams, consultants, subcontractors and developers
* Maintaining accurate project records within Buildertrend or equivalent software
* Supporting financial reconciliation and reporting within Xero
* General commercial and project administration support as required

About You

* Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in multi-residential construction
* Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, claims, and variations
* Experience using Buildertrend or comparable construction management software
* Working knowledge of Xero
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
* Capable of managing concurrent projects and deadlines
* Professional, reliable and solutions-focused
